Hi Contra – pretty sure that TG4 in HD is only available on UPC and not on Sky or Saorview (FTA), hope I’m wrong though! – Dave
hey Dave… it could be I am remembering TG4 HD on UPC, we cut the chord about a year ago and went Saorview FTA (digital aerial in back of TV) & FTA satellite, doing away with the UPC monthly bill. On a side note I am considering replacing all the TVs in the house with PC monitors so I won’t have to pay the TV licence tax either :).
I will make a mental note to check Saorview FTA is HD next time I am watching a game.
You are correct Dave, TG4 on Saorview is not HD. Kind of strange that it is HD on UPC but not Saorview. Hopefully they will fix that soon.
